I view Jesus as sent by his father because I believe that Jesus is the coolest and most laid back guy to ever set foot on earth which is why its hard for me to believe that he was sent by his brutal dictator of a father. I have a hard time even believing that the two are related. They are night and day. Jesus is everything thats good while his father is everything thats cruel.
He is our Father as well. When Jesus was teaching his disciples how to pray, the Lords prayer in Matthew 6:9-13, he starts by saying this very fact Our Father, who art in heaven. He is Our Father. We belong to Him.
